About the Employer
Colfax Elementary School District is located just 5 minutes off Interstate 80 along the Bear River in the Sierra Nevada foothills just below the Tahoe National Forest. Our one-school campus serves students in grades TK-8 with about two classes per grade level. We are small enough that we know each other’s names but large enough to have excellent educational and enrichment opportunities for our students. PLEASE PROVIDE: -Resume -3 Current Letters of Recommendation QUALIFICATIONS: -High school diploma -Preferred completion of at least one college course in the area of special education or attended at least six hours of in-service classes specifically related to special education. -Perform each essential duty satisfactorily LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: -Valid California driver’s license -TB Clearance -Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance

PLEASE NOTE: This short-term position is contingent upon student enrollment and CDE required staff to student ratios and may no longer be needed at some point during the school year. The employee in this position will be notified two weeks in advance if the position is no longer needed.
