The Woodside Elementary School (WES) District is a single-school K-8 public school district in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving the incorporated Woodside area. Students from this school district who continue public schooling matriculate to the Sequoia Union High School District or attend many private high schools. Our beautiful campus has Woodside Preschool, Woodside Elementary/Lower School (TK-5), and Woodside Upper School (5-8). Community support is what makes Woodside Elementary School the gem that it is. Whether from the vision and strength of the administrative team, the hard work of the PTA and Foundation, our School Board, or the numerous activities at the school, Woodside Elementary benefits from the passion of our vibrant community, who provide both strong financial support and countless hours of volunteer work. Through our Foundation and generous families, WES is able to provide strong programs in world language, art, music, design thinking, P.E., Social-Emotional-Learning, as well as our own library and technology devices for all students. Our small class sizes and student-teacher ratio are what makes our school special and transformative. Our annual school events of the Back To School BBQ, Back To School Night, Garden Fest, Holiday Book Fair, Science Showcase, STEM Fair, May Day Parade & Carnival, Open House and the Grand Auction, provide traditions that strengthen our wonderful community.
