Fusion Academy Seeks Candidates for Substitute/Part-Time High School English and History Teachers.
Fusion Academy (www.FusionAcademy.com) is a comprehensive, private school serving grades 6-12, and a full service tutoring facility. Many Fusion students exhibit special learning needs such as ADD/ADHD, LD, and emotional difficulties. All Fusion classes and tutoring are conducted one-to-one. Fusion Academy’s new campus in Calabasas opens March 1st. Fusion is a unique academic program offering services year-round on a rolling admissions basis.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration, as well as a higher level background in areas of specialty. Teaching credentials are a plus but are not mandatory. Experience with students with learning differences and ADD/ADHD is a plus.
History: through Economics. English: at All Levels, are preferable.
Subject matter knowledge in a majority of these areas must be solid; candidate must be prepared to teach and tutor material at a high school level immediately. In addition to subject matter tutoring and teaching, this position includes significant student mentoring.
Substitute/part-time positions (Monday through Thursday) are available starting in Mid-February. Part-time positions will have the potential for growth into a full-time positions.

Part-time positions, ramping up to full-time as enrollment grows, are available starting immediately. Candidates should be available for full-time training.
