Requirements / Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CA Drivers License
- ATTACH a DMV Printout (no older than 90 days) and must show *END* on the report. The online report will be accepted as long it is printed from the web browser, clicking the 'print' button displayed on the Driver History Report page (The Driver History Report page cannot be accepted, you MUST click the print button and save as a PDF to attach); copy/paste versions will not be accepted. Drivers may be asked to supply a certified DMV report at any time.
- ATTACH the CUSD Food Service Basic or Combo Test results, or date that you took the test (see test information below).
- Three References listed on application (In-house candidates must attach 3 professional references as well and may use the “professional references form,” which is linked on the job posting).
Food Service Test Information:
- Must pass the CUSD Food Service Basic or Combo Exam with a minimum score of 75%.
- Pre-registration is required at Central Unified Human Resources office Room 9, 5652 W. Gettysburg Fresno, CA 93722. Tests are $10.00 cash only, and exact change please. The next test date is Monday, August 27, 2018 @ 5:30 p.m. at Central Learning Adult School. Please allow up to 2 hours for this test. Candidates must register no later than 3:00 pm the day prior to testing.
- Please be aware that Central Unified School District may not have testing dates available for all job openings.
- If you have successfully passed the food service basic test, attach the year you took the test.
- APPLICATION - all classified applications must be submitted using Edjoin, no walk-ins, faxes or mailed applications allowed.
- IN HOUSE APPLICANTS - may complete the inhouse application available on Edjoin. Note: A password is required when applying; employees may contact site secretary or Human Resources.
- SUBSTITUTE EMPLOYEES - may not submit the In-House Employee short form. The EDJoin application form must be completed to be considered for position.
- REQUIRED DOCUMENTS must be scanned in order to submit an online application. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. Current district employees are not required to attach documents that are already on file in personnel.
