Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Child Development, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Modesto City Schools also offers a Beginning Teachers Support and Assessment Program (BTSA) with a state approved Induction Curriculum by which new teachers attain their Professional Clear Credential. Two (2) years accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, secretarial experience performing complex work tasks; Graduation from High School or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Modesto City Schools Clerical Assessment Certificate. In order to be considered for this position, you MUST attach the Modesto City Schools Clerical Assessment Certificate. To obtain this, you must sign up for, take and pass the Modesto City Schools Clerical Assessment. Upon receiving a passing score, you will receive a Certificate which you will need to upload to your application.
