Shanél Valley Academy (SVA) is an independent TK-6 charter and community school. SVA's educational model includes innovative learning opportunities such as: access to outdoor education on a 10 acre campus, blended-learning model and instruction, native and community school gardens, STEAM integration, agriculture education, inclusive educational practices, family partnerships, and a strong focus on Project Based Learning (PBL) school wide. Curriculum and instructional practices will reflect the needs of the diverse student population of Hopland, promote equity and prepare culturally competent, well-rounded, lifelong learners.
