Requirements / Qualifications
Cypress School District is seeking candidates for on-call, as-needed Substitute Student Activity Supervisors to supervise elementary students during recess and lunch to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Position Requirements: - Ability to stand and/or walk for 2 to 3.5 hours; -Monitor students during lunch and recess periods on playgrounds, in hallways, restrooms, and classrooms; - Enforce campus rules related to student personal conduct; - Maintain order and proper discipline; - Mediate and resolve conflicts between students; - Ensure that safety rules are obeyed; - Monitor playground equipment - Ensure students receive first aid if injured - Report observations and incidents relating to discipline, accidents, and safety; - Dress is casual with comfortable walking shoes recommended; - Ability to work in the outdoors on the playground and on grassy areas; - Must enjoy working with children.
