The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Communications Specialist. Under the direction of the Chief Communications and Public Information Officer to plan, organize and direct a highly visible and proactive program of communications extending to all SDCOE stakeholders. Provide planning, materials and support on key SDCOE initiatives and priorities. This position requires a combination of training, work experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university with an emphasis in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or a closely related field and at least three to four years of increasingly responsible experience in communications, public relations or related field. Accreditation in Public Relations is preferred. PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION WILL START JULY 1, 2015.
