Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, assists in developing curriculum that promotes workability activies and supposed customers ISP, provides training to staff to teach activities and manage day-to-day program functions (in absent of Program Manager) inculding superviosn of staff, monthly required and direct support to customers as needed.
Provide support sevices to Program Manager to assist with planning , organizing and iimplementing daily program operations, staff trainings, interacts iwth funding agencies, knowledge of licensing, assist with community connections, accreditation bodies and other consumer support; assist in developing, implementing and the evaluation of individual sonsumer plans (including correlation with other agency plans) ensure program facility/area is maintaing in a clean and safe manner; maintain proper and effective communication with the Program Manager; ensure completion of all program and consumer documentation to meet community care licensing requirements; provide staff supervision; provide supposed in the absence of staff; attend and participate in all staff meeting and other meetings as assigned; work coorperativel with UCP staff to carry out UCP's mission in a conducive work environment; assist with monitoring to maintain a health and safe environent for consumer and staff; assist in meeting program participants' personal care needs, other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
One year of college course work (30 units) with a focus on curriculum design, therapeutic recreation, adapted physical/special education or related human service field with a minimum of 3years of experience working in a Day Program.
