2014/2015 Lead Teacher - Teacher, Special Assignment (TSA), Technology INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CANDIDATES JOB DESCRIPTION: * Strong technology skills that support instruction inside the classroom. * Coaching ability- able to support teachers embedding technology within their curriculum. * Able to develop and teach student technological skills to support new entrepreneurship curriculum. * Able to manage consultants in delivering coding and programming instruction. * Willing to develop structure for students working on online classes. * Able to assess student mastery in technological proficiencies. * Able to coach students and teachers through technological difficulties. * Willing to go above and beyond. * Willing to try new things and learn through failures. BASIC FUNCTION: Work as a Teacher, Special Assignment to assist the site Principal or other assigned supervisor in implementing and/or coordinating an identified program. JOB DUTIES: Support schools in implementing CCSS and English Language Development standards-based instruction for English Learners and in the interpretation of EL data for instructional purposes. Establish interdepartmental communication and collaboration to develop professional learning focused on the academic uses of English in all domains across all content areas. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and three years of classroom teaching experience at the appropriate level. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California teaching credential authorizing instruction at the appropriate level.
