We are seeking full time in-house Curriculum Specialists to assist in developing a forward looking interactive curriculum for 2nd grade. The ideal person for this position will have experience working with a school system on 2nd grade curriculum as well as experience in developing interactive educational applications. This person will be working directly with our Director of Curriculum Design as well as other creative and production personnel.

This person will work as a member of a curriculum development team that is designing books and multimedia curriculum content. Duties will include writing detailed specifications for development of content with specified learning objectives that meet state and other professional standards and is highly engaging, as well as reviewing content for developmental appropriateness and the application of best-practice approaches in the presentation of concepts, principles, information and skills.

- Applicant must have 5+ years of experience working with 2nd grade curriculum

- Specialized training and/or experience in early childhood/primary grades curriculum development in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, art and/or music a plus

- Writing/editing experience a plus
