Communication Works (CW) is a private practice owned and operated by two Bay Area speech and language pathologists committed to providing the highest level of speech and language services to their clients, families and the community since 2001. CW is widely known and respected for its social learning groups run in their Oakland Clinic where we help our clients to think and be social. Along with clinic based groups, CW maintains certification as a Non-Public Agency (NPA) and contracts with local school districts, private programs and centers to deliver specialized speech and language services as well as provides in-home early intervention services through the Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB). CW’s areas of expertise include: Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Pragmatic Language Therapy/Social Thinking Therapy, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Assistive Technology (AT), Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHOH), and Early Intervention (EI) Services. CW also provides consultation services for families and program development for schools.
