Job Summary
Join Springs Charter Schools as our Professional Development and Growth Specialist! Help educators grow and succeed by developing engaging professional learning experiences, supporting new teacher onboarding, and creating practical instructional resources across our Academy, Homeschool, and Virtual programs. This role brings together collaboration, creativity, and project coordination to help educators put Teaching the Springs Way into practice. As part of a growing organization of 1,600+ employees and a Top Workplace award recipient for nine consecutive years, this position partners closely with principals and senior leadership to ensure high-quality, engaging, and compliant academic programming that supports student success and equitable access across all academies.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: * Valid California Teaching Credential. * At least five years of combined experience in classroom teaching and related instructional or professional learning roles, including classroom teaching experience. * Experience designing and facilitating professional learning for adults in person, online, and through blended formats. * Experience providing instructional coaching, modeling, and feedback to educators. * Experience developing and maintaining content in Canvas or a comparable learning management system. * Proficiency with Canva or a comparable platform for developing learning materials. * Working knowledge of adult learning principles, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), personalized learning, and accessible learning design. Preferred Qualifications * Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. * Experience with video production or eLearning authoring tools. * Experience developing structured learning pathways in a learning management system. * Formal coaching training or certification. Required Licenses and/or Certificates: * Required to operate a vehicle in the performance of duties; operator must possess an appropriate valid California Driver’s License and maintain possession of such license during the course of employment; * Have an acceptable driving record; * Must be insurable at standard rates by District’s insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment. * All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties.
