High School Musical Production (Spring): Step into the spotlight and inspire the next generation of performers! We are seeking a visionary and high-energy Director to take the helm of our vibrant musical theater program and create an unforgettable experience for our talented students. San Lorenzo Valley High School is looking for a Director for the annual Spring Musical Do you have a passion for theatre and enjoy working with high school students? San Lorenzo Valley High School is seeking a Director to lead our student production this season! Stipend: $2,686.00 The Director will oversee all aspects of the production, including: Collaborating in the selection of the annual musical Holding student auditions and casting the show Serving as the Production Manager Overseeing the blocking and overall stage direction. Coordinating with and supervising a Vocal Director and Choreographer Coordinating the artistic vision for set design, costumes, and production elements in collaboration with students, school staff, and volunteers. Organizing and overseeing dress rehearsals and performances Familiarity with Google Workspace Cultivating a supportive, welcoming, and vibrant atmosphere that fosters student confidence, collaboration, and a passion for theater This position begins in November 2026 and concludes following seven performances at the start of March 2026. Rehearsal days are up to the director and are preferably Monday through Friday, 3:00-6 pm. Technical Week begins Mar 1 through 4, Performances on the weekends of March 5-13, and Strike on March 14.
