Job Summary
Under the direction of the choir teacher, accompany school choirs during rehearsals and concerts, assist in leading section rehearsals and concerts, coach individuals and small ensembles, and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Training and Experience - Graduation from high school supplemented by private or college-level training in piano and music theory. - At least two years of experience as an accompanist. - At least two professional references must be provided from evaluating supervisors/managers.
Prior to selection, a performance test will be scheduled and issued by DMMS administration and staff. If selected to coach, the following items will be required prior to clearance: 1) TB/Drug Screening within 5 days of offer. 2) Live Scan Fingerprinting 3) CIF Home/ Home Campus Account 4) Completion of Keenan SafeSchools online training modules.

Schedule
The regular work schedule is Monday through Wednesday during the following instructional periods: (Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:50 p.m.), (Tuesday: 1:15 p.m. – 2:50 p.m.), (Wednesday: 8:50 a.m. – 9:27 a.m., 10:12 a.m. – 10:49 a.m., 11:49 a.m. – 12:29 p.m., and 12:59 p.m. – 1:30 p.m). Additional hours may be required for concert preparation and during performance weeks.
