Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of The Director of Special Education, the Special Education Program Specialist coordinates and supervises all personnel assigned to programs serving all students eligible for Special Education services within the District. The Program Specialist provides support to special education staff by planning, consulting, collaborating and supervising personnel assigned to programs serving all students eligible for Special Education services within the District. Special consideration will be given to candidates with a Psych/BCBA, Psychologist or SLP background, however, applicants without this background are welcome to apply.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION/LICENSES AND EXPERIENCE • BA and Master’s degree earned at an accredited college or university. • Valid California Administrative Credential in compliance with the provisions of Title 5, California Administrative Code, Sections 80125-80127 and California Education Code, Section 44270 • A minimum of 5 years of successful teaching and caseload management • Coaching Experience

  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters of Recommendation dated within a year)
  • Resume
