The Saugus Union School District Governing Board is seeking a special leader to serve as its next Superintendent. Located in Santa Clarita, California, the Saugus Union School District (SUSD) serves elementary-aged students (TK–6) across 15 campuses. Established in 1908, the district currently supports approximately 9,235 students.
The Saugus Union School District, in partnership with the home and community, is committed to excellence in elementary education, fostering a safe, secure, and healthy environment. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a PreK-6, PreK-8, or PreK-12 public school setting (required)
Experience as a site principal (required)
Three to five years serving in a cabinet level position (preferred)
Working knowledge of instruction, business, and human resource functions (preferred)
Doctoral degree (preferred)
Valid/current California Administrative Credential (required)
