Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the principal, the assistant principal serves as an instructional leader and provides support in the instructional program. The assistant principal is assigned by the principal to lead activities, support and supervise on the school site; supervise teachers and evaluate instruction in assigned areas; supervise and evaluate support staff, supervise extracurricular activities; and ensure a safe, orderly campus, and positive school climate.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience: Three (3) or more years of teaching experience and instructional leadership. Education: • A minimum of a Master's Degree and a California Administrative Credential. Required Documents: • Current Resume • Letter of Intent (addressed to Melissa Griffith, Associate Superintendent, Personnel Support Services) • Copy of California Administrative Credential • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months (it is recommended that at least one (1) come from an immediate supervising administrator).
