Requirements / Qualifications
California Specialist Credential in Special Education—Resource or Education Specialist Instruction Credential—Mild/Moderate with CTC required authorizations or Moderate/Severe Disabilities; English Learners Authorization required.

SALARY: Placement on the teachers’ salary schedule according to experience and educational units. We award UNLIMITED years of previous teaching experience for placement on the salary schedule. Qualifies for District’s portion of health benefits for self and eligible dependents.
DESIRABLE: Experience working with students with special needs (behavioral, emotional, autism, and/or physical needs) is desired. Knowledge of ASL and life skills curriculum experience is helpful.
