Job Summary
Job Summary
The Special Education Lead Teacher serves as an administrative liaison between management personnel and instructional staff. The Lead Teacher is under the direct supervision of a principal. However, the principal is responsible for guiding and directing routine activities delegated to the Lead Teacher. While some of the Lead Teacher duties and responsibilities may be carried out during the workday, additional hours are expected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Must be a current SBCSS contract teacher; • Completed two years of successful teaching experience in the SBCSS Special Education program; Note: Contract teachers who complete their second year with SBCSS by June 30, 2025, may apply. • Possess a valid California Clear Education Specialist credential.
