Preschool Aides - Full-Time and Part-Time at Kings County Office Of Education
Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma, equivalent, or certificate of completion is required. An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field; or two years equivalence of acceptable college coursework is preferred; a minimum of six units of Early Childhood Education classes is required. In the absence of an Associate’s Degree, must successfully pass a Proficiency Examination. Possess a valid California Driver License and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County. Transport students from time to time as required, in a county office vehicle. Participate in random alcohol and controlled substances testing as delineated in Superintendent Policy 4112.42, 4212.42, 4312.42 and Administrative Regulation 4112.42, 4212.42 and 4312.42.

The Full-Time position is 7-hours per day, 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the Part-Time position is 4-hours per day 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
