The Folsom Cordova Unified School District is seeking a visionary and experienced human resources leader with a deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, innovative and effective educational environment to join our team as the next Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. This position can be filled by a certificated administrator with the appropriate credential or by a classified executive manager with significant experience in Human Resources Management in the public sector. Requirements / Qualifications

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources will plan, develop, and oversee all operations of the Human Resources Division. This role includes managing employee benefit programs, talent acquisition and management, classification and compensation, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in policy development, strategic planning, and serving as an advisor to the Superintendent and the District’s leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader and an effective change manager with extensive knowledge of public sector human resources management, particularly within an educational setting. They will be collaborative, solution-oriented, and possess a proven track record in labor relations and negotiations, particularly in a unionized environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and will have the ability to inspire and lead a dedicated team of human resources professionals. Qualifications: At least seven (7) years of experience in administrative/management experience with progressively increasing responsibility in Human Resources, preferably in PreK-12 education systems Experience with labor relations and collective bargaining; an active leader or member of a negotiating team, preferred Master's degree from an accredited college or university, in human resources, educational leadership, public administration, business administration or related field Required Documents: Letter of Introduction (Cover Letter) Letter(s) of Recommendation (up to three) Resume

Upon Conditional Offer of Employment: Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Checks TB Test within the past 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667) Complete district trainings: Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment, etc. Valid CA Driver’s License Board of Trustees Approval
