The Lawndale Elementary School District has a few openings for a Bilingual Instructional Assistant. Eligibility for this position with this classification requires the ability to communicate in Spanish (written and oral). Experience working with school-age children in an organized setting is desirable. These positions accumulate one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD provides a $ 1,000-per-year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements + High School Diploma or GED + Current Resume 48 units or an Associates (or greater) degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. Positions Available: Addams Middle School 15 hrs/week 8:15 am - 11:15 am ( Monday - Friday) FDR Elementary School 15 hrs/week 8:30 am - 11:30 am ( Monday - Friday) Will Rogers Middle School 15 hrs/week 12 pm - 3 pm ( Monday - Friday) *Schedule and site are subject to change
