The Poway Unified School District is seeking to fill a vacant 60% Art teaching position at Black Mountain Middle School (BMMS) for the 2025/2026 school year.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered, including a valid teaching credential. CREDENTIAL REQUIRED: A valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential - Art or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching Art. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required document MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position 2. Copy of Single Subject Teaching Credential (Art or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching Art) 3. Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts are required upon hiring) 4. Current resume 5. Letter of introduction, addressed to Ricardo Ceceña, Director of Human Resources 6. Three (3) letters or reference, signed/dated within the past 12 month. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator. Applicants who have never held a full-time position, are encouraged to have a letter of reference from a site administrator where they completed their student teaching. 7.
