About the Employer
We are a unified school district serving more than 16,150 students in grades K -12. We have thirteen elementary schools, four middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, three specialized high schools, two alternative high schools and one K-8 school. We also offer a home schooling program, adult education courses and other unique programs to fit the needs of all students. Our school district employs approximately 1,100 certificated and nearly 900 classified employees. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of a Vice Principal, perform a variety of secretarial and administrative assistant duties to relieve the Vice Principal of administrative and clerical detail; plan, coordinate and organize office activities and coordinate flow of communications, correspondence, and information for the Vice Principal; prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports.

A written exam (weighted 40% of your score) and an oral panel interview (weighted 60% of your score) will be conducted. A passing score must be achieved on each portion of the exams. Final selection will be made from those who achieve the three highest ranking scores.
