Job Summary

Job Summary

The TSA works to support the AVID program across the district and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the AVID College Readiness System across all AVID schools in the Berkeley Unified School District, ensuring alignment with district goals and objectives. The role involves coordinating and facilitating professional development, providing guidance and support to each school’s AVID Site Team, collaborating with and coaching AVID Elective and AVID Excel Elective Teachers, and monitoring program effectiveness through data analysis. The TSA will also partner with various stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, and parents, to promote the AVID program and its benefits and they are expected to strategize and implement plans for program improvement, ensuring the AVID system's continuous success.
