Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum requirements: * Valid California Speech-Language Pathology services, or comparable California credential and/or California State Speech Pathologist License authorizing service as a Remedial Speech specialist * Resume * Letter of introduction * Copy of transcripts * 3 letters of recommendation (dated within the last 12 months, no supervisor required) * CBEST Test Results or equivalent Bilingual - Spanish preferred.

Comments and Other Information
*Fully qualified Speech Language Pathologists shall receive service credit for initial placement on the certificated bargaining unit salary schedule for all years of related speech/language pathology service, regardless of clinical setting (schools, hospitals, private practice, etc.). For purposes of this section, a fully qualified Speech Language Pathologist must meet the hiring criteria of the District and have a state license, Certificate of Clinical Competence, or a speech/language/hearing credential.
Effective January 1, 2025, all applicants for certificated positions must provide a complete and accurate record of prior employment with all educational institutions, regardless of the length of service. This includes school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and state special schools. This information is required to comply with Assembly Bill 2534 (AB 2534).
