Requirements / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: * Must possess a valid Clear California teaching credential. * A valid California administrative services credential is required or must be obtained within two years of employment. * Preferred qualifications include recent (within the last five years) teaching or leadership experience in a TK–12 independent study or homeschool program.

The qualified candidate will serve as an educational administrator and strategic leader, providing oversight and support for Teachers of Record (TORs), with primary focus on High School Learning Centers. Responsibilities include recruitment and selection, training, student assignment, and guidance on disciplinary matters. The Director also leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs while managing resources and fostering a positive, collaborative environment among staff, students, and families. This role ensures high-quality instruction and prepares students to thrive in both post-secondary education and the workforce.
