Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Human Resources and Facilities, perform a variety of supervisory and administrative duties; plans, organizes, coordinates and manages the District’s maintenance, operations, and risk management and safety programs. Provides and/or arranges for training for district maintenance team; reviews and analyzes compliance with safety regulations and practices; provides leadership related to the development and improvement of risk management programs; coordinates and leads efforts to identify and mitigate risk in order to protect District interests and resources; coordinates projects, tasks and activities in the Business Services Division related to risk management and articulation with other divisions, departments, agencies and community stakeholders; oversees and leads the work of the District Safety Committee; completes special projects as assigned; and performs other related duties as required. Represent the District as a liaison to contractors, inspectors, and architects, etc. related to facility improvements projects as needed.
