Requirements / Qualifications

Valid California Administrator’s credential and valid teaching credential. A Master’s degree in School Administration, Curriculum, related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in educational leadership and management, with a track record of successfully leading teams and programs. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed to build relationships and collaborate effectively with staff, students, and community partners. The ability to develop and implement strategic goals and align them with the mission of the school is crucial. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Desired: Prior experience in a school administrative role, preferably in adult education, is highly desirable. A strong understanding of adult education programs and a commitment to improving educational outcomes is beneficial. Experience in staff development, strategic planning, and building community partnerships is also preferred.

The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus. $9,960 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection. $12,000 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
