This eligibility post is open to Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) candidates who are intern eligible by August 2025 as verified by a valid credential, program completion letter or Intern Eligible Letter.

Requirements / Qualifications

This is an eligibility pool for the 2025-2026 school year. The Special Education department or school site may contact applicants directly as positions become available. CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Be intern eligible for a Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) assignment as of August 2025, as verified by a valid credential, program completion letter or Intern Eligible Letter.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required documents MUST be scanned prior to applying for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Intern eligibility letter or program completion letter from a university for Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs). The intern eligibility letter or program completion letter must be scanned under "Attachments" in Ed Join. 2. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising administrator. 3. Letter of Interest addressed to the Director of Human Resources. 4. Current Resume. **While not an application requirement, it is recommended that intern applicants have their 30-day substitute teaching permit prior to being recommended for hire.** ***Intern candidates are not eligible to be enrolled in the district teacher induction program*** ****Mod/Severe candidates are eligible for a $6000 signing bonus. The $6,000 signing bonus is for a full time (100%) position and prorated for a less than 100% position. The $6,000 signing bonus will be paid out at $750 at the end of the first eight (8) semesters employed in this position.
