CRY-ROP is seeking a Middle School Career Exploration teacher. The Middle School Career Exploration course provides the opportunity for students to explore different career pathways while building important 21st Century Skills such as critical thinking, communication and problem solving. The teacher acts as facilitator as the students rotate through a series of modules where they engage in authentic problem-based learning experiences as they discover their interests and aptitudes, along the pathway to high school career education programs and postsecondary success. The teacher’s role also includes offering college and career exploration activities for all students on campus, including aptitude assessments, guest speakers, career fairs, career clubs, hands-on activities, etc. Experience with a public school is desirable. The successful candidate will have not less than three (3) years’ experience in the field for the appropriate Designated Subject credential and/or education and experience combined that meets the criteria. We will assist with the credential process, cost of which is approximately $265 for first time credential holders.
