Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant must possess have either a valid CA Clear Single Subject California Science Credential in Biology/Living Earth and/or Chemistry. Must possess valid CLAD certification. Prior online teaching experience preferred. Teaching experience with 9-12 highly desirable. Experience with Charter Schools a plus. * All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties.
A virtual teacher proficiency test will be administered to qualified applicants. A completed EDJOIN online application is required. The resume does not take the place of a completed application. Upload all required documents named exactly as stated (e.g., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.

The Venture Online teacher is responsible for supervising students in grades 9-12 including grading, collaborating with parents on goal setting, curriculum and lesson planning, reviewing student learning, reporting attendance, creating the portfolio, providing assessment, monitoring student budgets and placing appropriate POs, creating report cards, assigning high school grades and units, and creating high school course descriptions.
