Job Summary
Under the direction of a credentialed school psychologist, the intern is responsible for administering intellectual, academic, and social-emotional assessments of individuals with exceptional needs. The School Psychologist Intern will assess and complete psychoeducational evaluations so as to facilitate the development of effective educational programs designed to meet individual pupil needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree required; • Master’s degree in school psychology or special education preferred; • Two years of successful work experience in public schools preferably in the area of mental health or special education. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Currently enrolled in a graduate-level School Psychologist program • Hold a Valid California Pupil Personnel (PPS) Internship Credential with School Psychology authorization or be eligible for a School Psychologist Internship from an accredited institution. • Valid California driver’s license.
