Job Summary
Under supervision, store, issue and maintain supplies, equipment and uniforms for physical education classes and athletic activities; perform custodial duties in the maintenance of locker rooms; perform other assigned custodial duties; prepare and maintain tracks, fields and courts for athletic activities; make minor repairs to various athletic equipment, and do related work as required. Knowledge of: Materials, supplies and equipment used in physical education and athletics; court and field regulations for athletic events; methods, materials and equipment used in cleaning various types of surfaces and furniture; safety related to cleaning methods, practices and equipment; machinery tools necessary to maintain and repair athletic equipment. Ability to: Maintain work schedules; maintain accurate records; understand and carry out oral and written instructions; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships; make minor repairs to athletic clothing and equipment; work without immediate supervision. Experience: One year of experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed above.
