Under the direction of an assigned administrator, provide a special education classroom for severely handicapped students to instruct and demonstrate essential skills and information necessary for functioning as independently as possible.
Requirements / Qualifications
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: •Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service to severely handicapped students OR appropriate intern-eligible letter from college/university OR intern program status letter, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for. •Copy of Early Childhood Special Education Authorization or equivalent is required for this position. •Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization •Copy of Transcripts (Can be unofficial at the time of application) RECOMMENDED DOCUMENTS: The following documents are recommended at the time of application: •Letter of Interest •Resume •Letter of Recommendation(s) AB 2534: PREVIOUS CERTIFICATED EMPLOYMENT MUST BE LISTED BY DISTRICT, INCLUDING SUBSTITUTE TEACHING.
