The Mill Valley Elementary School District is a K-8 public school district located in Southern Marin County, California, serving Mill Valley and the immediate surrounding area. The District includes five K-5 elementary schools and one 6-8 middle school. All schools are ranked at the highest statewide levels, and each individual school features its unique community. The District provides an excellent public education for approximately 2,300 students. At this time, we anticipate openings in grades TK - 3.

Certificated Speech & Language Pathologist
District Wide including early intervention students
Qualifications:
Master's level clinician, CCC preferred, CFY considered
Knowledge of current theory and instructional practices
Experience at K-8 grade level with school-based speech/language intervention
Understanding of a variety of current speech/language assessments
Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum
Knowledge and ability to work with students on social language skills (pragmatics)
Prepared to work with a wide variety of pediatric communication disorders
Experience assessing students for special education eligibility for speech/language
Willing to work closely with a team of professionals and parents in a small public school district
