Requirements / Qualifications

*Bilingual preferred Holds or is eligible for a clear Administrative Services credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Holds a Master’s or a Doctorate from an accredited university. Has a minimum of five years of teaching experience Has experience as an assistant principal or principal Highly knowledgeable and experienced in research-based best practices strategies and programs for increasing student achievement Has a successful record of increasing student achievement for all student groups, including English Learners, Students with IEPs, Homeless and Foster Youth, etc. Has successful experience in curriculum implementation within and across grade levels Has experience with creating and sustaining a positive learning and inclusive climate Highly experienced in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports and other programs that support social-emotional-behavioral well-being Has successful experience in using data analysis to coach others, address instructional practices, and increase student outcomes Has successful experience in facilitating collaboration and professional learning communities
