Job Summary
Job Summary
Provide remote, online instruction to at-promise high school students with mild/moderate disabilities including students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities and emotional disturbances in one or more assigned areas. Collaborate virtually with staff to provide an optimal online learning environment for at-promise students; evaluate student progress and communicate progress to students; implement teacher standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters’ Degree preferred Previous successful teaching experience in an alternative school setting is desired Experience and passion for working with at-promise student population preferred Appropriate valid and current California Education Specialist Credential English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate or Bilingual Authorization/BLCAD or Certificate of Completion of Staff Development (CCSD) or equivalent required 2025-2026 School Year Work Year: July 1st - June 30th; 190 Days/Year Salary: $76,903.78 - $129,166.20 2025-2026 Salary Schedule/Appropriate placement on Certificated Salary Schedule/* A maximum of 7years experience may be granted for previous full-time experience outside of SIATech Master's Stipend $2,000; Doctorate Stipend $2,000; Dual Credential Stipend $5,000; Signing Bonus $10,000
