Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent (or designee), serves as responsible administrator and professional leader in all aspects of the management and operation of the assigned school and/or programs; is responsible for implementing district programs and initiatives; is in direct charge of all personnel assigned to the site; operates within the framework of district policies as adopted by the Board of Education, legal requirements of the California Education Code, and the rules, regulations, and laws as mandated by other local, state, and federal agencies; promotes parent/guardian and student engagement in school programs; and provides community leadership.
Requirements / Qualifications
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Education: Master’s Degree required. Experience Required: Five (5) years full-time teaching, guidance or counseling, or other service experience while under an authorized California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) credential or equivalent. Administrative and elementary level experience preferred. Licenses, Certifications, and/or Testing Required: Administrative Services credential, valid California Class C driver’s license and evidence of insurability, TB test clearance, pre-employment physical and drug test clearance, Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance.
