QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous coaching experience in soccer at the high school level or above preferred.
• Participation in soccer at high school level or above preferred.
• Ability to successfully manage a soccer program within the established philosophy of the athletic department, school, district, and C.I.F.
• Knowledge of C.I.F. Blue Book Constitution and By-Laws.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide leadership and organization for all levels of the high school soccer program.
• Knowledge and experience in regard to soccer coaching technique and evidence of the ability to convey effectively those techniques to young student athletes.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership for a successful soccer program.
• Possess and will provide a valid First Aid/CPR Certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Possess and will provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Coaching Certification Class http://www.nfhslearn.com (Concussion in Sports).
• Possess and will provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Coaching Certification Class http://www.nfhslearn.com (Sudden Cardiac Arrest).
• Possess and will provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Coaching Certification Class http://www.nfhslearn.com (Fundamentals of Coaching).
• Possess and will provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Coaching Certification Class http://www.nfhslearn.com (Heat Illness Prevention).
• Possess and will provide a copy of a current Mantoux, PPD or TST TB test results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in acting as a liaison between the school and the community to promote a positive image for the program.
• Assist in organization and scheduling of practices and games for all levels.
• Assist in organization of summer camps(s) and off-season program.
• Fundraising.
• Implementation of the "Pursuing Victory with Honor" component within the soccer program.
• Start Date: ASAP
