We serve students in Riverside county with site-based, home study, and a combination of home study/on-site programs accreditated by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Job Summary
Description of Position Under the direct supervision of the Director of Educational Programs or Coordinator of Special Education, provides assessments and evaluations of health and development status of selected students through nursing diagnosis and the use of appropriate evaluation techniques. Oversees all on-site Special Education contracted nurses or health staff to ensure that the school is in compliance with all mandated assessments and immunizations laws.

School Nurse for K-12 Charter School - Enrollment 1,700 students $11,750 in Health and Welfare Benefits Longevity Stipend at 5 Years of service 11 sick days 3 days of PN Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: • Possession of valid California Registered Nurse License; Standard Designated Services. • Credential with Specialization in Health, Audiometric Certificate, current CPR and First Aid. o Verification of degree/additional units (column placement) - Units acceptable to initial placement must have been earned subsequent to the B.A. or B.S. degree. Units beyond Column I are semester units. Quarter units are converted to semester units on a scale of three (3) units to two (2) semester units. (Quarter Units x .667 = semester units.) Official transcript or official credit certificate will be required as verification for Column placement within thirty (30) calendar days from first day of paid service. (Column 1-6)
o Verification of years of service (step placement) - Credit will be given for all verified full-time service. A year must equal at least 75% of the calendared work year days in one year.
