Job Summary
Under the direction of the Santa Ynez Valley Special Education Consortium (SYVSEC) Director, the Accounting/Personnel Technician provides accounting, clerical, and Human Resources support to the SYVSEC Office and the BUSD District Office. The Accounting/Personnel Technician assists with performing technical accounting functions for an assigned set of accounts in such areas as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, employee benefits, and general ledger. The Accounting/Personnel Technician assists in organizing and maintaining special education programs and services to assure compliance with federal, state, and local mandates. In addition, the Accounting/Personnel Technician is responsible for the coordination of substitutes.
