Job Summary

Job Summary

The classroom teacher, under the supervision of the Principal, plans and implements an instructional program in accordance with acceptable principals of learning and human growth and development. This position serves Tk students and is located at Parkview Elementary School in Taft, CA.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: • Bachelor’s degree required. • Must possess (or be eligible for) a California credential. Experience: • Previous teaching experience or successful student teaching. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. **Teachers already employed with the District, may submit a transfer request form to HR in lieu of submitting an application on EdJoin. The form can be found on the District website or on the job announcement email. Internal staff who are not currently a Teacher must apply on EdJoin to be considered for the position.

In addition to submitting the certificated application, qualified candidates should upload:

  • Copy of Transcript (or copy of college diploma)
  • Credential Copy (or proof of eligibility)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) letters from within last three (3) years)
  • Resume
