SDC MODERATE-SEVERE TEACHER (TK-2) *INTERNS MAY APPLY* School Site: Loma Vista Special Ed Stipend up to $ 3,000 per year BCLAD Stipend up to $ 3000 per year Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits Up to 10 years service credit Under the supervision of the site principal or designee, will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program meeting the unique needs of special education students; will instruct special education students in accordance with established policies and procedures including applicable state standards; develop and implement IEP goals and assess students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Moderate/Severe Disabilities One year of successful experience providing services to students with moderate/severe disabilities in a moderate-severe setting Possess CLAD, BCLAD or English Learner Authorization Bilingual in Spanish, desirable ** See job description for more details**

Comments and Other Information
Appointment to this position predicated upon submitting a negative TB result. In addition, the selected candidate must complete the state fingerprinting requirements and the district must receive a certificate of clearance by the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Within three (3) days of employment, all new employees shall show appropriate documents, which certify that they are legally eligible to work in the United States.
