
Teacher - Juvenile Court Schools - Special Education Preferred (2025 - 2026 School Year) at Kings County Office Of Education
Requirements / Qualifications
A BA/BS degree in a related field is required. Extensive successful experience providing services for at-promise high-risk students is highly desirable. Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred. Experience working with high school level A-G curriculum is preferred. Possess or be eligible to apply for an appropriate, valid California Teaching Credential. Hold a CLAD or El Authorization. Possess a valid driver license and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County. Participate in random alcohol and controlled substances testing as delineated in Superintendent Policy 4112.42, 4212.42, 4312.42 and Administrative Regulation 4112.42, 4212.42 and 4312.42.
Any Credential that authorizes teaching Special Education is preferred.

Salary Range with a Special Education Credential - $75,485 to $134,830 annually depending upon education and experience
Salary Range without a Special Education Credential - $73,552 to $132,898 annually depending upon education and experience
