Job Summary

Under immediate supervision, in a fast-paced environment, prepares and/or assists in preparing, counting, assembling, cooking, heating, and serving a variety of food in a food service environment; does general cleaning and performs related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: • Current Resume for both external and internal candidates. • Evidence of recent successful paid experience in the preparation or serving of food. • Ability to follow oral and written directions. • Ability to prepare and serve a wide variety of meals. • Ability to work rapidly and efficiently in performing tasks. • Ability to work effectively with school personnel and students. • Apply and maintain high standards of sanitation and personal hygiene. • Sufficient education to have basic skills in reading, bookkeeping and arithmetic. • Ability to pass Food Handler Permit test upon hire.
