Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of: BEHAVIOR AIDE (Safety) This is a 3.5 hours per day, 180 day per year position, Monday through Friday. Based on experience, salary range is $20.30 to $25.98 per hour plus employer paid Vision, Dental & Life Insurance. Under supervision of the Coordinator (Child Welfare Attendance and Safety), provides assistance to instructional programs and school sites, in achieving educational objectives by working with individual students, or small groups of students to help them achieve identified skills. Assists in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning class and school environment. Will assist the Safety Department in inventory, data entry and security support.

1. High School Diploma (or equivalent)
AND
2. You must possess and PROVIDE proof of ONE of the NCLB "No Child Left Behind" requirements listed below.
*A.A. / A.S. Degree OR
*48 units from an Institution of higher education OR
*have passed the Instructional Aide exam (CODESP)
YOU CAN TAKE THE INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE EXAM TO BECOME NCLB QUALIFIED
