Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION: Paraprofessionals are required to have a high school diploma or its equivalent and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, math and classroom instruction through ONE of the following: 1) AA degree or higher 2) 48 units from an institution of higher education 3) Passing score on the Hueneme para assessment Hueneme para assessments are given Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30am. To schedule an appointment for the para assessment, please contact Edith Marin, Personnel/Benefits Technician. (805) 488-3588 x 9303 or email emarin@hueneme.org To be considered for this position, a completed application packet must be submitted. This must include a fully completed EdJoin application, resume, high school diploma, and proof of proficiency in reading, writing, and math. Applications will be screened and those selected will be invited to interview.
