Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director II, this position is responsible for coordinating the department of Child Welfare and Attendance for the district. The Director manages day-to-day district wide student attendance and discipline matters, ensuring consistency among school sites in handling these issues. This individual will work with programs/staff aligned to student welfare including oversite of District Nurses and LEA/MAA Billing. This individual will be working on building up a district understanding of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) across all school sites. In addition, this position will manage staff training and district compliance for 504s and SSTs (Student Study Team). This Director position works in a collaborative, team environment.

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required: Valid Administrative Services Credential (required); Valid CA Driver’s License and evidence of insurability; Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, and negative pre-employment drug screen test/negative TB test results (upon hire).
